PAUS.
Cambridgeshire
2020 - 2022
Brand & Event Consultancy
A breathing/bathing space located in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside, inspired by the philosophy of balance.
Emma collaborated with the founders of PAUS to develop a series of live events and year-round activities, which aimed to shape and enhance the brand, amplify key messages and communicate their core ethos and philosophy.
Emma also generated newsletter and website copy in order to drive sales whilst demonstrating an appropriate tone and voice for the brand, relevant to audience, and reflective of ethos.
The Parrot Cage Cabaret
Elmore Court, Gloucestershire
2020 - 2021
Event Curator
Cabaret Programmer & Producer
Throughout the various stages of lockdown in 2020, Emma worked tirelessly (within the rules at the time) to write, cast, programme and produce a series of pop-up, cabaret dining experiences.
Whilst lifting the hearts and spirits of audience members, Emma was also in turn, able to create several performance opportunities for her network of exceptionally talented cabaret performers throughout the pandemic.
The Good Times Card
"Gift the nudge for life's adventures"
2020 - 2021
Event Curator
Relationship Manager
Alongside event consultancy and curation, Emma provided this 'experiences' company with valuable introductions to organisations within her extensive arts industry network. Emma has both personal and deep-rooted professional relationships with a wide range of artists, promoters, and event organisers.
The benefits worked both ways. The Good Times card was able to provide a good level of (free) promotion for venues and events via their databases and campaigns. The venues benefited from potentially reaching new audiences. Whilst the Good Times Card was able to build new relationships with highly respected and well-known organisations and increase its offering for customers.
Emma also helped to forge new charity partnerships for the business also. You can read more about that here.
Veuve Clicquot
'Hypernature' at Wilderness Festival
2017 - 2019
Creative Concept Developer
Performance Curator
Meeting frequently with Moët Hennessy’s team, Emma worked on a series of creative concepts, and curated performances, for a unique Veuve Clicquot venue, on behalf of Wilderness Festival.
The objective was to provide a new venue offering within Wilderness, which would ‘challenge perceptions’ of the brand; connect with the festival’s audience in authentic ways; and uphold the Veuve Clicquot ethos and story. With the aim to continue to cement the Luxury French champagne brand with the Art world, following its hugely successful immersive installation series ‘The Widow Series’ curated by FKA Twigs.
Collaborating closely with multiple artists, including Kimatica Studio, the result was an exciting hybrid between a radical performance art space and a party dance floor.
